Sponsorships & Donations
At CSE, we’re more than a credit union, we’re part of the community. That means supporting local organizations, programs, and initiatives that make life better where we live, work, and play. As we grow, so do the number of requests we receive for support, so we’ve put together some simple guidelines to help you understand how we give back.
Where We Give and Why
CSE’s provides donations, sponsorships and financial, in-kind, and volunteer support to nonprofit organizations that serve communities and citizens in our field of membership: Stark, Summit, Portage, Tuscarawas, and Carroll Counties.
Due to the volume of requests that CSE receives, we objectively screen requests based on a standard of eligibility and purpose, distributing our limited donation budget to areas that focus on our mission and purpose.
CSE’s contribution opportunities must align brand values, mission, and vision. We prioritize partnerships that reflect our commitment in at least one of the following development issues:
- Education - Programs that inspire youth and adults, improve financial literacy, and open doors to opportunities.
- Health – Supporting physical, mental, emotional, and financial wellness for people of all ages.
- Housing – Helping improve access to safe, affordable, and quality housing.
- Hunger - Fighting food insecurity and making sure families in our communities have what they need.
- Transportation – Supporting access to schools, jobs, and essential services through transportation solutions.
You don't have to be a member of CSE FCU to be approved for a donation. Please note that CSE rarely donates to individuals, trips, sports teams, or causes that are religious or political in nature.
