The new office will be located on the Northwest corner of 12th and Whipple NW and will be referred to as our Meyer's Lake Office.

Construction should begin very soon and we hope to have it open sometime in late fall. Updates on the construction will appear in the summer newsletter as well as on our website and Facebook.

We now have the first CSE vehicle in our 74 year history. The van will be used to go to special events in the community, carry our loan officers to locations to do on-site lending, mobile advertising, and provide need-based transportation and services to and from our offices.

Unlike many commercial banks, we do not use fees as a way to generate income for the credit union. From time to time we do need to adjust some fees. The following fees will go into effect May 14, 2012:

  • Debit MasterCard replacement                               $5.00
  • Visa card replacement                                              $5.00
  • Voiding an official Check or Money Order            $10.00
  • Undeliverable mail (per item)                                  $5.00
  • Canadian / Foreign deposit item                           Our Cost
  • Early Account Closure (within 180 days)               $5.00
  • ACH Origination Changes                                        $5.00

Also beginning on May 14, 2012, new checking accounts will receive 50 free checks only after an initial minimum deposit of $50.

We don't need to tell you that operating costs are on the rise for everyone. We don't like it when we need to adjust fees, but sometimes it just can't be helped.
